HIFU stands for High‑Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It’s a non‑invasive cosmetic treatment that uses focused ultrasound energy to tighten, lift, and rejuvenate the skin without surgery.

How It Works:

  • A handheld device delivers ultrasound energy into deep layers of the skin — including the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) layer that surgeons target in a facelift.
  • The ultrasound heat (around 60–70°C deep down) triggers small, controlled micro‑injuries that stimulate the body’s natural repair process and collagen production.
